Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients and tools, including an oven-safe skillet.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels, then season with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In your preheated skillet, add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once hot, sear the chicken thighs for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add the remaining tablespoon of butter. Once melted, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan, and Italian herbs, simmering for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, nestling into the sauce. Spoon sauce over the chicken to coat.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Once out of the oven, let it rest for a few minutes and garnish with fresh parsley or dill before serving.
