Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce your favorite brand

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a seasoning paste.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the seasoning paste.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, skin side up.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  6. After 30 minutes, remove the chicken from the oven and brush a generous amount of barbecue sauce over each piece.
  7. Return the chicken to the oven and continue roasting for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
