Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  4. Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, spoon marinara sauce over each patty and top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover the grill or skillet to melt the cheese.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing each cheesy patty on a bun, sprinkling with grated Parmesan cheese, and adding fresh basil leaves if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious pizza burgers!
