Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, apple cider, whole wheat breadcrumbs, egg, finely diced onion, minced garlic, and spices. Mix gently for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Using a scoop, portion out and roll the mixture into meatballs the size of golf balls, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil. Sear the meatballs for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In the same skillet, mix remaining apple cider, maple syrup, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return meatballs to skillet, spoon glaze over them, and cook on low for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with any remaining glaze, pairing with whole grain pasta, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
