Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C); this temperature is ideal for baking your BLT Quiche to a golden perfection.
  2. If using a store-bought pie shell, follow the package instructions to bake it until lightly golden. Allow the crust to completely cool on a wire rack once baked.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook four slices of thick bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Once cooked, drain the bacon on paper towels and chop it into small pieces.
  4. Once the pie shell is cooled, layer feta and cheddar cheese across the bottom, followed by the diced tomatoes, chopped spinach, green onions, and crispy bacon.
  5. In a medium bowl, whisk together four room-temperature eggs and ⅓ cup of cream until light and fluffy. Season with salt, black pepper, ground mustard, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients in the pie shell, filling just below the crust’s edge.
  7. Place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden-brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving warm or at room temperature.
