Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and thyme, season with salt and pepper. Cook for 10-15 minutes until caramelized.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and pinch seams. Layer provolone cheese, roast beef, and caramelized onions. Roll into a log and slice into 1-inch pinwheels.
