For the Rice and Vegetables
  • 3 cups Cooked Rice Day-old rice is best since it’s less sticky.
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas Fresh peas work just as well if available.
  • 1 cup Carrots Diced bell peppers can be used for variety.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat until it starts to shimmer.
  2. Add the sliced beef sirloin and stir-fry for about 3 to 5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add 1 sliced onion and 2 minced garlic cloves, cooking for another 2 to 3 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Incorporate 3 cups of cooked rice, 1 cup of frozen peas, and 1 cup of diced carrots, stir-frying for about 5 minutes.
  5. Drizzle 3 tablespoons of soy sauce over the mixture and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds.
