Step-by-Step Instructions
- Slice beef strips into thin, uniform pieces, around 1/4-inch thick. Chop bell peppers and onions into bite-sized pieces.
- Whisk together soy sauce and cornstarch to create a marinade for the beef. Let sit for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add peanut oil. Stir-fry chopped onions for 2-3 minutes until translucent. Set aside.
- Increase heat to high, add marinated beef, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Add chopped bell peppers to the beef and sauté for 2 minutes until they soften slightly.
- In a small bowl, combine garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a splash of water. Pour over beef and peppers, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Return cooked onions to the skillet, mix everything together, and serve hot over rice or egg noodles.
