  • 1 tbsp Chili Oil adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar for tang
  • 1 tbsp Sichuan Peppercorns or black pepper

  • ½ lb Ground Pork or ground chicken/plant-based option
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Minced Ginger
For the Toppings
  • Chopped Green Onions for garnish
  • Fresh Vegetables optional, e.g., bok choy/cucumbers
  • Chopped Peanuts for garnish

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Cook noodles by boiling salted water. Add 8 oz fresh noodles and cook for 4-6 minutes. Drain and toss with vegetable oil.
  2. In a large pan, heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil over medium heat. Add ½ lb ground pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 tbsp minced ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp sesame paste, 1 tbsp chili oil, and 1 tbsp rice vinegar. Stir to create sauce, cooking for 2 minutes.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the sauce, tossing until evenly coated for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle in 1 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns, stir well, and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve garnished with green onions, sliced vegetables, and chopped peanuts.
