  2. Make Strawberry Jam: Combine strawberries and sugar in a saucepan, cook for about 45 minutes, then cool completely.
  3. Cookie Dough Preparation: Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Layer Dough and Jam: Spread cookie dough, dollop jam, and swirl to create marbled effect.
  6. Form Cookies: Scoop dough, place cheesecake disc in center, wrap dough around it and roll in sugar.
