Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cranberries, apple slices, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and spices. Mix gently and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate. Place one pie crust in the plate and pour in the filling.
- Cover with the second pie crust, sealing the edges well to prevent leaking.
- Cut several slits into the top crust for venting.
- Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before serving.
