Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cranberries, apple slices, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and spices. Mix gently and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate. Place one pie crust in the plate and pour in the filling.
  3. Cover with the second pie crust, sealing the edges well to prevent leaking.
  4. Cut several slits into the top crust for venting.
  5. Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before serving.
